Why to use Speed CPSE ?

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is one of the most frequent prostatic diseases in dogs, characterized by proliferation (hyperplasia) and increased size (hypertrophy) of the prostatic cells
Such structural changes result in an increased blood level of Canine Prostate-Specific Esterase (CPSE), an enzyme secreted by the prostate.

When to use Speed CPSE ?

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is a disease that occurs spontaneously in male dogs from the age of 3 and the risk increases with age. It affects approximately 80% of males over 5 years of age, which makes it the most common prostate disease in dogs.

Speed CPSE now makes it possible to carry out regular screenings in dogs even in the absence of symptoms in order to better prevent and anticipate the risk of BPH. For a dog already suffering from BPH, Speed CPSE allows regular monitoring in order to adapt the treatment in the event of disease progression.
