Why to use Speed Cortisol ? |

Cortisol is secreted by the adrenal glands under the control of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. The measurement of cortisol in blood contributes to the screening and diagnosis of hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s syndrome) and hypoadrenocorticism (Addison’s disease) in dogs. |
When to use Speed Cortisol ? |

Speed Cortisol can be used for screening or follow up to adapt the treatment. Cushing's syndrome is more frequent in dogs from 6 and females. Addison's disease is more frequent in young dogs (under 6) and females. |
